Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Medical Center of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Astana held the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Forum "Shipai-2018" on April 24-25, 2018.

Within the framework of the congress, the general problems of the sanatorium-resort sector and their solutions were discussed, and also the participants exchanged the experience of successful national and foreign resorts and sanatoriums with their scientific integration into practical health care.

The forum was attended by the director of the Institute of Physiology, President of the Azerbaijan Society of Physiologists, doctor of biological sciences Ulduz Hashimova. She delivered a paper on "Experimental studies of the therapeutic effects of naphthalan oil", which presented the main results of research on the biological and physiological effects of this oil, which are conducted at the Institute of Physiology. The report also gave a brief overview of the history of the discovery and development stages of the unique resort - Naftalan.

The report aroused great interest of the participants of the event.
