Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Head of the Department of Islamic Philosophy of the Institute of Philosophy, corresponding member of ANAS, Kenul Bunyadzadeh was on a business trip to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During the visit, she visited the University College Lahore. Azerbaijani scientist was informed about the history of the institution and also visited the "Igbal Hall", belonged to the outstanding philosopher Muhammad Igbal.

At the lesson held in the Urdu branch of the university, K.Bunyadzadeh discussed with Professor Tabassum Kashmiri the topic "What kind works should be translated?". The scientists stressed the importance of foreign works in the education and self-development of the younger generation.

In the second part of the lesson K. Bunyadzadeh delivered a report on "The main ideological principles of the Republic of Azerbaijan, scientific and cultural features." The scientist answered the students' questions about the influence of the Soviet and post-Soviet period on Azerbaijani culture.

Then, Azerbaijani philosopher met with the head of the philosophy department of UCL Sobey Tahir, got acquainted with the curriculum and the topics of the faculty research.
