A "round table" dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the national leader Heydar held

ANAS Institute of Caucasus Studies held "round table" devoted to the 95th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

At the event, director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Musa Gasimli spoke about the life path of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, his rich political heritage and invaluable services in strengthening the independent Azerbaijan state. "The great personality of Heydar Aliyev occupies an exceptional place in the history of Azerbaijan's statehood", scientist said, noting that the prominent statesman, regardless of the socio-political structure, has always paid great attention to the progress of Azerbaijan: "As a result of Heydar Aliyev's political system, statehood and ideology of Azerbaijanism, Azerbaijan has become a highly developed country".

Further, head of the Department of Armenian Studies of the Institute, Doctor of Historical Sciences Gasim Hajiyev, head of the Department of Georgian Studies, Ph.D. in Philosophy Vahid Omarov, head of the Department of Caucasian Politics, Ph.D. in History Ramil Dadashov, Leading Researcher of the Department of Georgian Studies, Ph.D. in History Elnur Kalbizadeh, employee of the Department of Armenian Studies Aydin Eyvazov and others assessed the period of wise government our country as a great leader as the golden page of the history of Azerbaijan.

It was noted that, the invaluable work done by the national leader of Azerbaijan, perpetuated the memory of him in history. Heydar Aliyev is a historical personality, founder, savior and architect of an independent Azerbaijan state, which left a deep imprint in the world politics of the twentieth century due to his consistent and purposeful state and political activity.
