Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Conferences and "Interactive open lesson" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic were held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Radiation Problems and Nakhchivan Division of ANAS.

Participants spoke about the establishment of the ADR and its historical significance, as well as about the Decrees of the Head of the State "On the 100th Anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic" and "Declaration of the Year of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2018".

Speakers pointed out that the establishment of the Republic in the beginning of the 19th century restored traditions of the lost statehood.

They also emphasized the importance of decrees and orders signed by national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev in studying the history of the ADR and bringing truths to our people.
