ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan History held an event "Three heirs of the Shahsuvarov family".

At the event, which began with the State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the research worker of the Department for External Relations and Scientific Mass Work of the Museum Sahib Alakbarov recalled the Order of the AR President on holding "The 100th Anniversary of the Azerbaijani Democratic Republic". He stressed the importance of studying the generation of Mursal bey, Surkhay bey and Nurmamad bey Shahsuvarov in the period of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR).

Then, journalist Vasila Shahsuvarli, Ph.D. in History Alemdar Shakhverdiyev, senior daughter of Mursal bey, doctor of technical sciences Vera Shahsuvarli, PhD in history Oruj Shahsuvarov, editor-in-chief of “Pillələr” newspaper Shohrat Abbasov and actor Rauf Shahsuvarli spoke in detail about the history of the Shahsuvarov family, the period ADR and their students, the repressions they suffered in Soviet times.

The event also presented electronic slides and documents on the topic.
