Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Academician Vagif Abbasov, Director of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after Academician Y.Mammadaliyev, visited the National Research Technological University of Kazan on the grant "Algarish" and program "Prospective processes of oil and gas chemistry" of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Academician met with the rector of the Academic University, correspondent member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan (ASRT) Sergey Yushko and signed a cooperation agreement between the two institutions.

V.Abbasov met with ASRT President, academician Myakzyum Salakhov, vice-president, academician Dr. Ayrat Abdullin and director of the Volzhsk Hydrocarbon Scientific Research Institute, academician Ahmet Kazarova and discussed opportunities for cooperation.

V.Abbasov then met with pupils of Chemistry High School at Kazan National Research Technological University and pupils at boarding school No 7.

In addition, the prospects of cooperation were discussed at the meeting with Director General of “Tatneftekhiminvest – Holding”, correspondent member of ASRT Rafinat Jarullin, director of "Knut" technopark Vladislav Yanov, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Oleg Stepashin and others.
