Indian Embassy in Baku and the Institute of Dendrology of ANAS held the next tree planting and greening campaign on the occasion of June 5 - World Environment Day.

Director of the enterprise, correspondent member of ANAS Tofig Mammadov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Azerbaijan Sanjay Ranan, employees of the embassy, ​​Indian community in Baku and students of Azerbaijan University of Languages ​​participated in the action organized in the Dendrology Institute.

During the action, embassy staff and active young people of the institute planted various trees and shrubs.

It should be noted that the tree planting and greening action is of great importance for the protection of the environment and biodiversity conservation. This project is a great contribution to the recovery of ecological balance, acceleration of ecological environment, as well as strengthening the sense of environmental culture and the sense of concern for nature.

Such actions are planned to be held continuously at the Dendrology Institute.
