Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

On April 23-24, 2014 in Moscow held the International scientific and practical conference “From a plant to a preparation: traditions and present”. The conference organized by the All-Russian Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Russian Academy of Sciences, attended by scientists and experts from different countries. At the conference, our country presented by the Deputy Director of the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS, Doctor of Biology, Professor Panah Muradov, who delivered the keynote address “Mycological security plants that are widely used in folk medicine in Azerbaijan.” The Azerbaijani scientist provided information on traditional medicine which is the best approach from the point of view of health preservation during an era of scientific and technical development in the performance, and also about need of development of the principles of mycologic safety of use of plants and preparations and acquainted participants of conference with the results received in this regard. P. Muradov and the management of the All-Russian research institute of medicinal and aromatic plants exchanged opinions concerning cooperation, and came to the agreement on carrying out joint researches.
