Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

"Imadeddin Nasimi. Iraqi Divan" developed by chief researcher of ANAS Institute of Literature, professor Gazanfar Pashayev   and "Gazanfar Pashayev. Bibliography" book prepared by the library presented.

At the event organized jointly by the Ministry of Culture and the National Library, the participants first got acquainted with the exhibition of the scientist's works.

The event was opened by the director of the library, Professor Kerim Tahirov, who spoke about G.Pashayev's scientific and literary creativity, his contributions to our literature.

Then Vice President of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Literature, Academician Isa Habibbayli spoke about the contributions made by G.Pashayev as researcher of the Nasimi heritage. He noted that Gazanfar Pashayev gave Kirkuk literature as an inseparable part of Azerbaijan and created the foundations of Kirkuk studies in his works. For the first time in our science literary criticism, he published and studied "Iraqi copy of Nasimi Divan".

MP Ganira Pashayeva, Member of the Board of Directors of Azersun Holding Tahir Guzel, Head of the department of Literature Institute, Professor Shirindil Alishanli, Chairman of Azerbaijan Union of Ashugs, Professor Maharram Gasimli, Deputy Director of Azerbaijan National Encyclopedia Scientific Center, poet-publicist Vagif Bahmanli spoke on the role of the scientist in the development of our science and our public opinion.

Haji Faraj Aliyev sang Nasimi's ghazals at the event.

At the end Professor Ghazanfar Pashayev thanked the organizers and participants of the event and everyone who contributed to the development of books.
