Discussion on "Development potential of tea-growing and paddy-growing in Azerbaijan" was held at Lankaran scientific-practical seminar.

Director of the Institute of Fruit Farming and Tea Growing Scientific Research Institute of Ministry of Agriculture Ilham Gurbanov spoke about the work done to improve the scientific support of the agrarian sector in our country and underlined state programs 2018-2025 on the development of paddy-growing in Azerbaijan and tea-growing for 2018-2027 years,.

Director of Lankaran Tea Branch of Fruit Farming and Tea Growing Scientific Research Institute Iltifat Kerimov spoke about the state of tea-growing in Azerbaijan and said that the development of tea growing will have a positive effect on the economy and will serve to increase the country's income as export-oriented products.

At the scientific-practical seminar the lecture by Professor Farman Guliyev, Director of Lankaran Regional Science Center of ANAS, on "Modern technologies of tea plantations formation" was listened.

The speakers also listened to the lectures on "Modern Technology of Tea seedling ", "Development of paddy-growing in Azerbaijan" and etc.
