The book, "Porous Silicon and Solar Cells," prepared by the Laboratory chieafs of the Institute of Physics of ANAS, academician Teyyar Jafarov and Professor Ayaz Bayramov, published in the “Handbook of Porous Silicon” in Germany's Schringer Publishing House.

The editor of the book is Leigh Canham, the famous British scientist who discovered and researched the porous silica. The book consists of 110 chapters, and the authors of the chapters are renowned scientists who are invited by Kanham from 40 countries and are actively involved in nano-structured silicon technology and research.

The publication covers the technology, structure, optical, luminescence, electrical, magnetic, thermal properties of nano-porous silica, as well as optoelectronics, photovoltaic, hydrogen-voltaic, sensor, acoustics and bio-medicine.

The book contains the results of T. Jafarov and A. Bayramov's research on the use of nano-porous silica in photovoltaic solar elements and the work done in the scientific centers of the world in the last 30 years.
