The 1st page of the publication includes the Order of President Ilham Aliyev “On the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic” and “On declaring 2018 in the country the year of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic”, including the Action Plan for the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic”, approved by the order of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov.

Information on the previously unexplored Nakhchivan relations during the ADR was published in the scientific materials by the chairman of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS, academician Ismail Hajiyev - “The place and role of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in the history of statehood” and corresponding member of ANAS Fakhraddin Safarli  “Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and Nakhchivan”.

The articles reflected the social and political situation in Nakhchivan which was very difficult, and also reflected the changes in power in the country, the successive attacks of Armenia on Nakhchivan, the genocide of the Muslim-Turkic population living in this region, the problem of refugees and other problems. At the same time, the activities of the Nakhchivan National Committee for the Protection of Nakhchivan, the fight against Armenian dashnaks, relations with the Ottoman state were studied.

The publication stressed the role of the Nakhchivan population in the fight against Armenian aggression. It was shown that the courage, bravery, heroism of the people of Nakhchivan, their struggle and their resistance did not allow the Armenians and their patrons to realize their intentions in Nakhchivan.

Archival documents, letters, telegrams and information in the journal are reflected in the section “Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and Nakhchivan” and articles published in different years in the press are reflected under the heading “Nakhchivan in 1918-1920”.

The publication is a valuable source for studying the links of the ADR and Nakhchivan.
