By ANAS Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory named after Nasiraddin Tusi together with “Tusi-Bohn Planetarium” was celebrated Day of astronomy. The director of planetarium Famil Mustafayev opened the action and gave the general information on Day of astronomy celebrated around the world. Deputy Director of the Observatory, Ph.D. in physics Ph.D. in physics Khidir Mikayilov, academic staff of this organization Adalet Atayev, Tahir Mustafayev and others spoke about the importance of the Day of astronomy, the history of this science, Shamakhi Astrophysics Observatory activities, achievements and future plans. Also it was noted that the astronomers of the world celebrating this day, pay attention of people to planets and their studying. The Azerbaijan businessman, founder of “Planetarium of Tusi-Bohm” in our country Takhir Guzel reported about flight planning in space in the next two years. T.Guzel gave information on flight plans, answered questions interesting participants.

In conclusion a film “Undiscovered Worlds” was shown.
