By the organizational support of the Office of International Relations of the Presidium of ANAS the workshop on the usage of the Information Platform “Web of Science” was held. The seminar, which was held in the main building of ANAS, was attended by employees of institutes belonging to the Division of Social Sciences.

Opening the event, the representative of the agency in Azerbaijan and experts of scientific information resources of the organization Aygun Babazade informed the participants about the platform. She said that, about 24,000 journals were indexed on the basis of the Web Science Web Platform in four areas, and this included eight journals from Azerbaijan.

She noted that, the purpose of the seminar is to familiarize with the capabilities and key elements of the platform, select international scientific journals and publish articles, scientific links and their analysis, as well as the correct search query.

A.Babazadeh also noted that, publication of articles in journals included in the database and it is free. Then, the expert visually demonstrated the usage of the base.
