ANAS Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies celebrated October 18 - Independence Day

ANAS Vice-President, Director of the institute, academician Irada Huseynova opened the meeting, said that, the foundation of the independent Azerbaijan Republic was built on strong foundations.

She noted that, in the country after coming to power national leader Heydar Aliyev eliminated chaos and anarchy, economy and political tensions and stressed that, the progressive development strategy laid down by national leader Heydar Aliyev is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

Then, Deputy Director on on scientific affairs, PhD in biology Alamdar Mammadov said that, by the Supreme Council of Azerbaijan was adopted the Declaration of Independence on August 30, 1991 and on October 18, 1991 the Constitutional Act on "State Independence" was adopted.

Corresponding Member of ANAS Ibragim Azizov, Doctor of Biological Sciences Saftar Suleymanov, Doctor of Biological Sciences Shakhniyar Bayramov, Junior Researcher of the Institute Elnara Sadigova and others also spoke at the event.
