The event was held at ANAS Institute of Linguistics after Nasimi on October 19

Director of the institute, academician Mohsun Naghisoylu informed the participants about the work carried out within the framework of the “State program on the use of the Azerbaijani language in the context of globalization and the development of linguistics in the country in accordance with the requirements of the times”. The scientist has emphasized importance of holding the corresponding meetings on this question, having noted that the State program opens ample opportunities for development of Azerbaijani. As language is also a symbol of national statehood, his development and protection is a duty of every citizen.

Further, head of the monitoring department of the institute, Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor Aliyeva Sevinj said that, the department’s staff followed several directions during the monitoring.

The leading researcher of the institute, Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor Gaziyeva Nezaket spoke about the monitoring results.

The monitoring which is carried out in this area shows what in performances of musicians is observed deviations from standards of Azerbaijani. For the reason that music covers wide circles of audience, that is why musicians should be more attentive.
