Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

At the joint meeting of the Presidium of ANAS and the Scientific Council of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, rector of the Academy, advisor of ANAS, academician Urkhan Alakbarov made a report on " Inclusive Development and Innovative Management Technologies: Experience of the Republic of Azerbaijan".

Our country has gained a high position in the world of inclusive development in 2018. According to the Davos Economic Forum evaluation, our country ranks third among the countries with transition economies. Indices of inclusive growth in Azerbaijan exceed USA, Japan, Italy, Israel, Spain, Portugal, Russia’s. This achievement is a part of the general development strategy of the social policy in the Republic of Azerbaijan, academician underlined.

The increase in per capita income, economic recovery in the country over the past 15 years created conditions for the development of science, education and health at the state level. The analysis shows that, based on the achievements gained in the Republic of Azerbaijan, a complex of management technologies, is developed by President Ilham Aliyev’s theoretical foundations and methods of application.

The report analyzes the achievements gained through the introduction of new synergetic, complementary and compensation technologies and their complex application. It was noted that, as a single multi-component system in complex form, these technologies were first used in Azerbaijan for the planning and management of inclusive growth. These technologies encompass the transformation of state programs into national programs, the involvement of civil society and individual business in their implementation, and increased attention to the interests of national, international and international partners in joint projects.

Head of Department for Humanitarian Policy of the Administration of the President, Professor Farah Aliyeva, Professor Nazim Imanov and others made speeches and proposals after the report was listened.

Later, it was expedient to continue the study of management technologies applied in the country and highly appreciated by international organizations, based on the Presidium of ANAS and the Scientific Council of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In addition, the decision included publication of the results of multidisciplinary scientific research on the country's achievements in the field of inclusive development, preparation of a special textbook for higher education institutions in this area.
