Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

An event was held on the occasion of the 136th anniversary of Hussein Javid's birthday, jointly organized by Yasamal District Executive Authority, ANAS Huseyn Javid's House Museum, Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi  and Yasamal District Organization of New Azerbaijan Party.

Academician-secretary of the Department of Humanitarian Sciences of ANAS, academician Teymur Karimli spoke about the great poet's creativity, his rich literary heritage and human ideas at the event, which was attended by prominent figures of science and culture and public. He talked about the services of immortal artist in the history of Azerbaijan literature, in the development of our dramaturgy.

The head of Yasamal District Executive Authority Aziz Azizov said that Huseyn Javid, who established new era in the literature with his deep philosophical and aesthetic content, went on to live forever in the hearts. A. Azizov noted that according to relevant orders of President Ilham Aliyev, the 130th and 135th jubilees of Huseyn Javid were celebrated at the state level in our country.

Vice-president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature, academician Isa Habibbayli and Hamid Jafarov spoke about the unforgettable writer’s inexhaustible folk love.

Director of the House Museum of Huseyn Javid, Doctor of Philology Gulbaniz Babakhanli emphasized that H.Javid's creativity has always served to enrich human morals as a perpetual word of art.

Chairman of the Yasamal district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party Tagi Ahmedov underlined that Javid's immortal works will always be read, his memory will live forever in the hearts of the people.

At the end, pieces of Huseyn Javid’s poetry were sounded by famous artists.
