Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Institute of Physics held an international conference. Conference was organized by the project “Ge/Si tunable sensors for visible and near infrared bands and explosive detectors based on germanium and carbon nanostructures” being winners of the competition in 2017-2018. Given project is the collaboration agreement between ANAS and Council of National Research Italy (CNR) and won the competition announced in 2015 on the basis of collaboration program.

In three day conference took part four research workers from Institute of Materials for Electronics and Magnetism, Parma (Italy) Dr.Claudio Ferrari (supervisor of the project in İtaly), Dr Giovanni Attolini, Dr Giovanna Trevisi, Dr.Sara Beretta and Professor Francesco Sansone (University of Parma).

The conference organized by Professor Sevda Abdullayeva, chief of laboratory “Bionanostructural physics” and supervisor of the project in Azerbaijan and the results of joint studies have been discussed.

Guests got acquainted with the equipment of Innovation Sector of Institute of Physics. The scientists of the institute demonstrated the results of researches carried out at the laboratories.
