ANAS Institute of Linguistics after Nasimi held the scientific session on "Mikail Mushfig's poetic language" at main building.

The event is dedicated to the 110th anniversary of outstanding Azerbaijani poet Mikayil Mushfig.

Opening the session, Director of the Institute, academician Mohsun Naghisoylu said that, the event was held within the framework of the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated 17 May 2018 "On the celebration of the 110th anniversary of Mikail Mushfig".

Academician noted that, Mushfiq is one of the most prominent representatives of the 20th century of Azerbaijani poetry and introduced innovation in our literature.

He said that, M.Mushfig, who enriched his national literature with lyric poems, essays and tales, created unique works of art.

Mohsun Naghisoylu noted that, Mushfig’s poetry reflected nationalism, patriotism, purity of our mother launquge in folklore.

Academician also stressed that, by the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was established a Working Group to study materials widespread in mass media about detection of remains of the poet Mikail Mushfig

Further, Deputy Director for scientific affairs of the Institute of Linguistics, Ph.D in Philology, Associate Professor Baba Maharramli, leading researcher of a scientific institution, Ph.D in Philology, Associate Professor Elchin Ismailov, senior researcher, PhD in Philology Khadija Heydarova and leading researcher of the Institute literature and Ph.D in Philology Safura Guliyeva delivered reports on Mikayil Mushfig’s work and life.
