Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The Congress of the Silk Road International Museum Alliance was held in Fuzhou, China, which was attended by representatives of the Silk Road countries - China, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Israel, Laos, Mongolia, Belarus, Serbia and other countries.

The international event our country was represented by Director of ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan History, academician Naila Velikhanli, Deputy Director for scientific affairs, Doctor of History, Associate Professor Nargiz Aliyeva, Deputy Director for Science Foundation Affairs, Doctor of History Sciences, Associate Professor Makhfuza Zeynalova.

The event discussed the expansion of international ties and the exchange of experience between museums. In addition, it was decided to hold a joint mobile exhibition in Beijing in 2019.

Speaking of M.Zeynalova spoke about the scientific activities of the organization, as well as about the protection and restoration of the exhibits.

Academician Naila Velikhanly was elected one of the 9 Vice-Presidents of the Alliance.
