ANAS II Special Department of the Presidium held next seminar on the results of the training in Civil Defense (CD) for 2018 and Organisational Instructions for 2019.

Seminar with participation of Civil Defense headquarters of the institute and organizations of ANAS and commander-in-chief of CD troops was opened by chief Department Eldar Guliyev.

E.Guliyev noted that, seminars, trainings and other activities on CD are organized in accordance with the “Law on Civil Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 25, 1998 “On Ensuring Civil Defense” and recommendations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

He recalled that, were organized seminars and listened reports by scientists on various scientific areas.

It was noted that, jointly with the chiefs of the CD headquarters were conducted inspections at the institutes and ANAS organizations.

He also gave instructions to the chiefs of staff on improving the quality of CD training in educational institutions. At the same time, he mentioned the importance of monitoring and controlling personal protective equipment in organizations, as well as testing relevant laboratories.

Head of the Department noted that, Action Plan for 2019 will be approved and sent to scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS in the coming days.

Speaking at the seminar, chief specialist of the Department Oktay Farzaliyev made recommendations regarding the preparation in the scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS of the plan of measures on Civil Defense for 2019, as well as the preparation of the final report for 2018, the organization of civil defense and the preparation of documents on Civil Defense.

Then, were listened reports on the training of CD leadership, held in November 2018.

In conclusion, were considered a number of current issues.
