Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The book was published by the co-authorship of head of the Department of Ethnography of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology of the Nakhchivan Division, Ph.D. in History, Assistant Professor Asaf Orujov and head of the Department of Folklore Studies of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature, Ph.D in Philology Elkhan Mammdov.

The publication analyzes the spiritual culture of the people from the historical and ethnographic point of view, on the basis of Nakhchivan’s materials, calendar holidays were studied. Traditions, customs and ceremonies were investigated in a complex form.
