Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On January 11, 2019, scientists from the Ardabil University of the Islamic Republic of Iran made a report at the Institute of Biophysics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

Opening of the seminar, director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor Oktay Gasymov informed about the issues to be discussed.

First, Rouhallah Moradpour delivered a report on "Combination therapy with Mir-143 and doxorubicin synergistically suppressed Osteosarcoma proliferation and cell growth". In his report, he gave detailed information about Mir-143 and the therapeutic role of doxorubicin in breast cancer and osteosarcoma.

Then, Mahshid Damandan made a presentation on the topic “The Synergism Effects miR-143” and presented comprehensive information on the topic under discussion.

In conclusion, scientists from Iran answered the questions of the seminar participants and noted the feasibility of a joint study of issues of common interest.

In addition, discussions were held on the establishment of future scientific cooperation between the three institutions - the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS, the Khazar University and the Ardebil University of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
