Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The representative of the famous Italian company “Ferrero” Domenico Manfredi visited the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry  of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

The meeting attended the Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Alovsat Guliyev was devoted to the prospects for the development of hazelnut production in Azerbaijan and the establishment of joint cooperation.

Noted that, on cooperating with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, D.Manfredi stressed that, soil science plays an important role in the development of fund management.

According to him, in the near future, Azerbaijan can become a major global producer of hazelnuts due to its soil and climatic conditions. Later, a company representative got acquainted with the Soil Museum.

It should be noted that, the meeting was also attended by academician Maharram Babayev, corresponding member of ANAS Amin Ismailov and head of the Laboratory, Ph.D. in Agraculture Zakir Aliyev.
