Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Employees of the ANAS Nakhchivan Division visited the Nakhchivan Salt Museum, where they got acquainted with the museum exposition. The guests were informed about the history of the museum and its role in the preservation of national and spiritual values, in a comprehensive study of the history and culture of the country.

On September 12, 2017, the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan signed the Order “On the establishment of the Nakhchivan Museum of Salt”.

It was noted that, museum presents various types of stone tools, including pottery from the Eneolithic, Bronze and Iron Age, ceramic and pottery and other exhibits founded during archaeological excavations.
