Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The book “The Wisdom of Love (Rabiah Al-Adawiyah and Edith Stein)” by head of the Department of the Institute of Philosophy, corresponding member of ANAS Konul Bunyadzadeh was published. The publication was published by the İstanbul 29 Mayıs University as part of a project implemented.

The monograph discusses the wisdom of love in three directions. Priority was being given to the separation of divine and human love.

The second direction is connected with the history and worldview of women philosophers. The third aspect of the study is devoted to comparisons of the love of different religions and times. The book discusses the Christian principles of love and the principles of Islam, both Eastern and Western thoughts, and also shows medieval and modern philosophies.

The scientific editor and author of the Preface is Professor of the Pontifical Lateran University of the Vatican, Francesco Alfieri and the editor is PhD in Philology Shahla Majidova.
