The author of the new book “Folklore Heritage of academician Hamid Arasli” by academician Hamid Arasli is a leading researcher of ANAS Institute of Folklore Vusal Safiyev.

The publication refers to the success in Azerbaijani, Russian and world science. The author of the "Preface" is corresponding member of ANAS Kamran Aliyev.

The 1st chapter of the book comprehensively explored the place of Hamid Arasli in the history of Azerbaijani oral literature and the study of ashug poetry and epics in the scientific heritage of the scientist.

The 2nd chapter is devoted to the formation of this issue in the scientific and theoretical literature, a detailed presentation of the work of the scientist about the ancient and medieval period of our literature. The third chapter of the book reflects the activities of a scientist in textology, the publication of the epics "Kitabi Dede Korgud" and "Koroglu".

The book is intended for PhDs student, philologists and university students.
