On February 12, representatives of BP Azerbaijan's Environmental Group and Aviation Service visited ANAS High Technologies Park (YT Park). The main goal was to get acquainted with the activities of the HT Park, products and business processes, as well as the establishment of cooperation.

The delegation from BP Azerbaijan included Head of Sangachal Terminal and Azerbaijan Pipeline Ecology Group Nijat Hasanov, Monitoring Advisor Nargiz Garajayeva, Saadat Gafarova and Jalal Rahimov.

Guests were accompanied by the Director of HT Park, Ph.D. in economy Nazim Shukurov, Deputy Director for Infrastructure, PhD in agrarian sciences Elkhan Bayramov and Deputy Director for Strategic Development Mammad Bagirzade.

Initially, Nazim Shukurov informed guests about HT Park and the development of innovative and high-tech competitive products, creating favorable conditions for providing services and supporting entrepreneurship in this area.

Then the guests got acquainted with the accredited Strategic Scientific Analytical Testing Center, meeting the international standards. Deputy Director of the Center, Kamal Yusifov, gave them extensive information about laboratory equipment, facilities and services provided here. Speaking about the main activities of the enterprise, he noted that the laboratory rooms are equipped with the most up-to-date equipment and equipment. He said that the fully-fledged analytical laboratory will be transformed into a fundamental research center for academics and academics. Providing objectivity and accuracy of the test results of the center, keeping the test equipment and measurements at the required level, performing their service level and repairs are the main priorities.

Later, BP Azerbaijan employees were informed about the main features of the equipment designed for determination of sulfur compounds at HT Park, their advantages over other chromatographs, petrochemical equipment. It was noted that the wide-ranging multi-profile equipment can be used to clean oil contaminated soil.

In addition, they visited the production facilities of “Millers Oils Azerbaijan’, which was established by the Experimental Industry Plant (EIP) of ANAS and “Millers Oils”, a British-based company with a history of 130 years.

Director of ANAS EIP Vasif Abbasov informed the guests about the goods stored in the ready-made warehouse, the lubricants of high quality produced here. He said that the lubricants sold on the basis of domestic products are mainly made of mineral oils.

Director of “Millers Oils Azerbaijan” Ltd, Ph.D. in technical sciences Sanan Mammadov informed about the company's main activities and said that there are marine diesel oils, fuels, high-quality lubricants and so on.

At the end of the visit, the guests had a look at the unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) at HT Park. It was noted that the Science and Technology Park, which is a resident of HT Park, is manufacturing a new generation unmanned aerial vehicles that meet world standards. In the future, such devices will be improved and produced.

As part of the meeting, many questions were also answered by YT Park specialists. The two sides exchanged views on cooperation in joint areas and the implementation of joint projects. Relevant decisions were made.
