Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Institute of History by the organization of Azerbaijan Embassy to the Arab Republic of Egypt held a presentation of books in Arabic.

During the event, Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Egypt Tural Rzayev, Director of ANAS Institute of History, academician Yagub Mahmudov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Egypt Inter-Parliamentary Group, Professor Usama Al-Abd and others spoke.

In his speech, academician Yagub Mahmudov informed the participants about the book in Arabic - “Irevan khanate: Russian conquest and resettlement of Armenians to the lands of Northern Azerbaijan”, “Real history and fiction about “Great Armenia”, etc.

Further, Professor Osama Al-Abdou was awarded the Diploma of Honorary Doctor of the Institute of History.

The delegation led by Yagub Mahmudov met with Azerbaijani and Egypt students.
