Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A book based on historical sources devoted to great Azerbaijani commander, the last ruler of the Ganja Khanate, a prominent representative of the Ziyadogly family - Gachar - Javad Khan will be published.

Compiler of the publication, author of translations from the Persian language and annotations, researcher of the Institute of Manuscripts Haji Rauf Sheihzamanly attended at the meeting of the Ganja Division also informed the participants about books and archives related to Javad Khan, as well as about his research.

The scientist noted that, the new book, which will consist of two parts, will highlight a letter from Javad Khan to Pavel Tsitsianov, a summary of individual articles translated from Persian, etc.

In turn, chairman of the Division, academician Fuad Aliyev stressed that, the publication of books devoted to the life and struggle of Javad Khan will play an important role in studying the history of Azerbaijan.
