A scientific session devoted to the 650th jubilee of Imadeddin Nasimi was held at the Institute of Manuscripts named after Mohammad Fuzuli within the framework of the action plan on the announcement of the Year of Nasimi in our country in 2019 by the relevant order of President Ilham Aliyev.

Academician-secretary of the Department of Humanitarian Sciences of ANAS, director of the institute, academician Teymur Karimli informed about the purpose of the event. He said that Imadaddin Nasimi is one of the powerful speakers of the Azerbaijani people's universal culture.

Academician Isa Habibbayli, vice-president of ANAS, underlined the importance of restudying the Nasimi heritage and stressed that the Institute of Manuscripts with rich literary treasures has a more responsible commitment.

Then Deputy Director of the Institute of Manuscripts, Doctor of Philology Pasha Karimov made a report about Nasimi. He noted that Jahangir Gahramanov's activity in this direction is a direction towards today's young.

Scientific secretary of the Institute of Manuscripts, PhD on philology Azizaga Najafov, PhD in Philology Shalala Humbatova and Nazrin Atabeyli made reports at the event.
