ANAS Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics held a seminar on “Upper limit for using mathematical methods in economic research” devoted to the “Day of Science” on March 13.

Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Misir Mardanov noted that, the event was organized in the framework of the Order of AR President Ilham Aliyev dated April 9, 2018 on the establishment of the "Day of Science".

Director of ANAS Institute of Economy, Doctor of Economy, Professor Nazim Imanov delivered paper on “Upper limit for using mathematical methods in economic research”.

The report highlights issues such as the importance of using mathematical methods in economic research, the upper and lower limits of mathematical methods, as well as theoretical and practical issues. He also noted that the use of mathematical methods leads to a deepening of economic research and obtaining accurate scientific results.

N.Imanov also said that, it is impossible to determine the upper limit of the use of mathematics in economic research using numerical methods and quantitative indicators. The professor also spoke about research at the Institute of Economy.
