Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Institute of Petrochemical Processes held a conference dedicated to the “Science Day” and Mendeleev's Periodic Table 150th anniversary by the Russian scientist D.I.Mendeleev. The event was attended by teachers and students of the Republican Lyceum with a chemical and physical bias and scientists of the Institute.

Director of the institute, academician Vagif Abbasov, stressed that UN General Assembly announced 2019 year as the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements. He informed on Mendeleev’s Periodic Table.

After discussions, the students got acquainted with the Memorial Museum of Y.Mammadaliyev.
