Today, ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi held an event dedicated to the Novruz holiday.

ANAS Vice-President, Director of the institute, academician Isa Habibbeyli said that, Novruz holiday is celebrated in our country as a national holiday of our people. Congratulating the staff of the institute and guests on the holiday, the scientist wished them success in their future activities.

Then, head of the Department of the institute, chairman of the Union of Ashugs of Azerbaijan, Professor Maharram Gasimli and chairman of ANAS Council of Women, Professor Rana Mirzazadeh delivered a speech.

During the event, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Aynur Khalilova delivered a paper on “Novruz holiday as an ethno-cultural event among Turkic-speaking peoples”.
