Head of the Department of Turkic Languages of ANAS Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi, responsible secretary of "Turkology" journal, Elchin Ibrahimov, presented the journal "Turkology" at the Kazakh University of Ahmet Yassaviy and held a seminar titled "Actual problems of Turkology in the Turkic world"

The seminar was attended by pro-rector of the Ahmet Yesevi University, Associate Professor Pusat Pilten, Director of the Turkological Research Center, Associate Professor Sardar Dagestan, editorial staff of "Turkology" journal published at Ahmet Yesevi University, a large number of scholars, young researchers, students and guests.

E.Ibrahimov noted that by the decision of the Presidium of ANAS in 2016, academician Kamal Abdullayev became the editor-in-chief of "Turkology" journal, there was a serious upheaval in the journal’s work. He said that the journal covers not only linguistics of Turkology, but also other areas such as art, mythology, classical heritage, literature and folklore, philosophy and history, where articles from scholars from around the world have been published.

In conclusion, E.Ibrahimov answered the questions of the participants. He presented the number of "Turkology" journal to the bookstore of the Turkological Research Center.
