Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Institute of Physics held an international seminar on the “Horizons for cooperation in the nuclear physics field, elementary particle physics and particle detectors between Azerbaijan and Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR)”.

Director of Institute, academician Nazim Mamamdov emphasized that, JINR is an international organization and cooperation with this organization is carried out at the state level. He noted that, the cooperation with the institute covers all scientific and educational institutions in Azerbaijan related to this area.

Further, Senior Researcher of JINR Laboratory of Nuclear Problems Nikolay Rusakovich delivered paper on “Preparation of a 7-year development strategy for the institute’s program. Prospects for the integration of JINR into the European system of research infrastructure”.

Also, Alexander Cheplakov, Head of the High Energy Physics Laboratory and V.Glagolev, Deputy Head of the Nuclear Problems Laboratory delivered papers.

In conclusion, were held discussions on the topic of the seminar.
