Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

According to the document on military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, ANAS Strategic Scientific Research Center also participated in the joint tactical exercise “Mustafa Kemal Ataturk-2019”. During the exercises, armored vehicles, artillery equipment and mines, military and transport helicopters of the Air Force, as well as air defense and anti-aircraft missile units by ANAS Strategic Scientific Research Center were also demonstrated.

In the exercise, aimed at achieving coordination of joint activities of the Azerbaijani and Turkish military units, the demonstrated equipment and products were tested by experienced specialists. Military experts praised the latest samples of military, defense and civilian products manufactured by ANAS Strategic Scientific Research Center and of strategic importance for our country.

ANAS Strategic Scientific Research Center was also represented at the June exhibition, which demonstrated weapons and ammunition used in the joint tactical training “The Indestructible Brotherhood-2019” in Nakhchivan as part of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.

The exercises, which were attended by Vasif Talibov, chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Autonomous Republic, Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey Hulusi Akar and Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov products by ANAS Strategic Scientific Research Center successfully passed the demonstration. Employees were awarded certificates of honor.

It should be noted that, at present the Center is working to increase the intellectual, military-scientific and technical potential and create a common scientific and technical space, the implementation of joint scientific research. And also for this purpose takes part in more than 50 projects.
