Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Presentation of the book "Anar - 80 ... History of Personality" was held at the Central Scientific Library of ANAS.

The event was opened by academician Isa Habibbayli, vice-president of ANAS, who noted that Anar, a prominent representative of literary generation, chairman of the Azerbaijani Writers' Union, is an expert in the development of our literature. He noted that Anar plays a special role in the struggle for national ideals in the literary-social environment in the 70s and 80s of the XX century and in directing the creation of new literature in the era of independence, in directing the artistic idea to the interests of the country.

Then, the author of the book and "Preface", Ghulhani Panah, scientific editor of the publication, doctor of philological sciences, professor Jale Aliyeva, rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, academician Kamal Abdullayev, People's poet Nariman Hasanzade, editor-in-chief of "Literature Newspaper" Azer Turan and the others shared their memories about the writer and spoke about the services of writer in our literature.
