An international conference on the theme "Outstanding Azerbaijani thinker: Nematullah Nakhchivani" was held in Nakhchivan.

Nakhchivan State University, Nakhchivan University and Nakhchivan Studies Center, well-known scientists, including Turkish Consul General in Nakhchivan and Turkish scientists attended the conference organized by Nakhchivan Division of ANAS in accordance with the Action Plan of the Knowledge Fund under the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. .

First, the event participants visited the monument to the national leader in Nakhchivan and familiarized with the Heydar Aliyev Museum.

The conference, which was held in the Nakhchivan University, was opened by Surak Seyid, the head of the Department for Humanitarian Policy and Public Organizations of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. He recalled the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov on the study and investigation of the legacy of the outstanding scientist Nematullah Nakhchivani on October 29, 2018 in connection with the study and study of Nakhchivan heritage, and highlighted the measures taken in this direction.

At the event, the chairman of Nakhchivan Department, academician Ismayil Hajiyev spoke about the life and activity of Nematullah Nakhchivani.

Academician Isa Habibbeyli, Vice President of ANAS and Mohsun Nagisoylu, Director of Institute of Linguistics named Nasimi, made reports about Nematullah Nakhchivani.

Then the event participants watched the documentary film "Tafsir alimi".

Then the event continued its work with sectional sessions.

At the end of the conference, the participants of the conference visited Garabagh Tomb Complex, Duzdag Physiotherapy Center, Nakhchivan Salt Museum, Historical-Architectural Museum Complex "Nakhchivanqala", Historical-Architecture of "Khan Palace", Museum Complex under Open Skies and Tomb of Yusuf Kuseyir oglu.
