The international congress “Kutadgu Bilik” was held in the capital of Turkey, Ankara.

The event, organized by the Organization of Turkic Language, is dedicated to the 950th anniversary of the writing of the poem “Kutadgu Bilik” by Yusif Has Hajib.

The congress, which was attended by 102 delegates from 15 countries, was attended by the vice president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli, director of the Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi, academician Mohsun Nagysoylu and other Azerbaijani scientists.

At the event, I. Habibbeyli delivered a lecture on topic “Yusif Balasagunlu: Nizami of Turkic poetry”, M. Nagisoylu - “Kudagdu Bilik” and the ruler as a symbol of justice in the Nizami’s poems”, professor Ismail Kazimov -“The concept of tengri-tanri in “Kudagdu Bilik ", PhD. Philology Baba Maharramli -" Words similar in meaning to the concepts of "god" and "prophet" in Kudagdu Bilik, PhD in Philology Elchin Ibrahimov - "History of research related to" Kudagdu Bilik", and the state of these research in Azerbaijan” and others.

Within the framework of the International Congress “Kudagdu Bilik”, held in connection with the 950th anniversary of the writing of the poem “Kudagdu Bilik” by Yusif Balasagunli, 133 reports were listened.
