Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Nakhchivan Division, Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology met with the second year students of the History Department of the Nakhchivan State University.

Firstly, Fakhraddin Safarli, Director of the Institute, correspondent member of ANAS recalled on a Degree "On supporting of additional measures and innovations on transfer of specialties of higher and secondary educational institutions to the agency to the relevant organizations" dated April 3, 2019 by the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan, Vasif Talibov.

The scientist emphasized the need to strengthen ties between educational and scientific institutions and spoke about the tasks, assigned by scientists and intellectuals to increase students' interest in science. He said that, the Institute plans to hold regular meetings and open classes with students.

As part of the meeting, the students visited the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Department. Head of the Department of Archeology service at the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology, PhD in History, Associate Professor Zeynab Guliyeva delivered a paper on "The role of archeological science in Azerbaijani history".

Zeynab Guliyeva said that, the exhibits, collected at the museum are material and cultural examples obtained during the study of the region in 2006-2018.

At the end, the students got acquainted with Museum’s exhibits and questions were respondent.
