Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev met with the vice-president of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, academician Roin Metreveli.

At the meeting, development of ties between the Azerbaijan and Georgia Academies of Sciences have been discussed.

ANAS President, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev noted that, our republic is paid a special attention to the development of relations with neighboring and friendly Georgia at the State level.

Then, vice-president of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, academician Roin Metreveli told on his meetings with the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev.

He also noted that, today there are great opportunities for the further development of scientific cooperation in the field of social and human sciences.
