Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of ANAS held a meeting of the Scientific Council on Catalysis of the Coordination Council of Scientific Research of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Speaking at the meeting, deputy director of science of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Muhammad Babanli stated that, establishing scientific councils is of great importance in terms of coordinating scientific-research work in the republic, developing complex inter-sectoral scientific and technical programs, defining fundamental and innovative research.

Then, chairman of the Scientific Council on Catalysis corresponding member Eldar Zeynalov spoke in detail about the purpose and main tasks of the Coordination Council of Scientific Research of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Later, secretary of the Scientific Council on Catalysis, PhD Pari Muradova and other speakers said that the activities of the Coordination Council should be purposeful and contribute to the implementation of fundamental and applied research on catalysis.
