Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The European Health Day Congress was held in Wiesbaden, Germany with the support of Quality in Health Prevention Organization.

Azerbaijan has been represented by the delegation led by Ulduz Hashimova, a director of the Institute of Physology named after acad. Abdulla Garayev, Doctor of Biology and Professor, at the event with participation of scientists from France, Belgium, Slovakia, Czech Republic, China, Russia, Kazakhstan and different countries.

At the event, U. Hashimova presented the results of experimental studies on the therapeutic effects of white naphthalene oil, widely used in medical rehabilitation and resort. In addition, a special stand of cosmetic products made of white naphtha oil was organized by the Azerbaijani delegation.

Mainz University of Germany, Medical University of Slovakia and Experimental Biomedical Center named after Beretashvili of Georgia expressed readiness to study the therapeutic effects of white naphtha oil, a new innovative product of ANAS High Technology Park, and to implement a joint project under the Horizon 2020 program.
