Exhibition of National Economy Achievements in Moscow presents exhibits of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History

November 23, an opening ceremony of the pavilion "Azerbaijan" took place after overhaul in the Exhibition of National Economy Achievements in Moscow.

Along with officials from the Russian Federation, First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva also attended the ceremony. She noted that pavilion "Azerbaijan" has not only restored its appearance but also attached new content. Here, the guests can get acquainted with the rich history, culture and traditions of the Azerbaijani people, as well as learn about the success of modern independent Azerbaijan in the socio-political, economic and humanitarian spheres.

Various exhibitions on the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan were organized in the pavilion. Among them are paintings, sculptures, national musical instruments, Azerbaijani carpets, ancient and medieval ceramics, stone and copper containers, a network, jewelry samples, weapons and more attracted the attention of exhibitors.

For the first time in the history of the pavilion, a special exhibition dedicated to Azerbaijan's participation in World War II was organized, where unique exhibits of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS were exhibited. Among them were exhbitis of the heroes of the Soviet Union, General Hazi Aslanov, Hero of the Soviet Union Colonel Habibulla Huseynov, Hero of the Soviet Union, Colonel Adil Guliyev, the brave soldier of Azerbaijan the first female military pilot of Azerbaijan Zuleikha Seyidmammadova, who fought heroically, aroused special interest.

The exposition organized on the initiative and with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation will last 6 months. Exhibition of National Economy Achievements, which is included the world's 50 huge exhibition centers, receives 30 million visitors per year.
