Today, Sheki Regional Scientific Center held workshop on topic “Environmental impact to productivity of mulberry silkworm”. In a workshop employee of Sericulture laboratory, a junior researcher Nargis Khalilova delivered a lecture.
According to the Nargis Khalilova, when the temperature falls to 15 degrees and exceeds to 30 degrees the silkworm can’t feed and die. Therefore, the ambient temperature should be 23-25 degrees for normal feeding of silkworm.
Finally, N. Khalilova noted about research conducted in the laboratory and measures were taken in order to increase productivity of silkworm.
