Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS held a scientific-practical conference devoted to reinforcing cooperation between Agrarian Science and Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and young scientists and specialists of the Institute.

The conference participants firstly were acquainted with the institute's library, Museum of Soil and several laboratories.

Opening the event, director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Alovsat Guliyev highlighted the importance of the conference.

Later, deputy director of the Agrarian Science and Innovation Center, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Farman Karimov, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS (CYSS), PhD Famin Salmanov and chairman of CYSS of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry Farid Mustafayev stated that such events have contributed to the development of scientific relations among young researchers.

Lectures on following topics were listened at the conference - "Challenges for Young Scientists and Specialists in the Development of the Agrarian Sector", "Use of Pesticides and Their Consequences in the Soil", "Impact of soils destroyed under the influence of stone quarries to the degradation in the Absheron Peninsula" etc.

Then, memorandum of cooperation was signed among Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Agricultural Research Institute under Ministry of Agriculture, and Research Institute of Viticulture and Winery of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Finally, participants were presented with certificates.
