The book "Lyrics of Nasimi: content of cognition and poetic adornments" by Saadat Shikhiyeva, PhD in Philology, a leading researcher of the Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS after academician Z. Bunyadov, has been published.

Preface of the book was written by Esmira Fuad, a scientific editor of the book, Doctor of Philology.

The monograph of the scientist, who is a researcher of Nasimi, glances at the history of the poet's poetic heritage, in this context the attitude to existing controversial issues in Nasimi study, and investigates motives and metafores, the major indicators of his cognition.

The material consists of chapters "History of Nasimi's Lyrics Study", "The main cognitive indicators of Nasimi lyrics - metaphors and motives" and "Nasimi's word art".

The book is intended for specialists, high school teachers, students, graduates and a wide range of readers.
