Nakhchivan Division of ANAS held an event dedicated to discussion of the results of 2019 and the tasks for the year 2020.
Speaking at the event, head of theDivision academician Ismail Hajiyev spoke about the achievements of our country, including the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in 2019. I.Hajiyev spoke about the important achievements of the 2019 scientific organization headed by him.
The scientist said that last year, 37 studies were carried out in 96 phases, which included 7 topics at research institutions within the Division. He noted that the department staff published 18 books, 8 books, 1 booklet, 3 methodical manuals, 549 scientific articles, 225 conference materials, 7 theses, 411 booklets and 4 maps. 4 of the monographs, 73 of scientific articles, 57 of the conference proceedings, 1 of the theses were published abroad. According to Hajiyev, 37 articles have been published in journals with impact factor, 10 of which are on the Clarivate Analytics list. There are 287 references to the works.
Academician I. Hajiyev said that in 2019, Division had published four issues of the series "Scientific Works" and "Searches". He also brought to mind the publication of the book "Nakhchivan Duzdagh", "Nematullah Nakhchivani: destiny and art" and "Ertugrol Javid: fate and art" and a book "Nakhchivan's history in sources".
It was noted that last year the Division staff participated in national and international expeditions and became scientific advisor to four historical films and documentaries.
I.Hajiyev also spoke about grant projects implemented during the research period and said that two republican grant projects were finalized last year. He said that the implementation of 3 grant projects, two of which are international and 1 is republican, is currently underway.
According to the head of the Division, discussions on various topical topics were conducted, practical trainings, seminars and workshops were held with the participation of foster students within the projects: "Know and recognize our historical monuments", "From research to application", "Nakhchivan in the manuscripts". Open lessons were held and many other work was done.
Director of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology, corresponding member of ANAS Fakhraddin Safarli, director of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature, corresponding member of ANAS Abulfaz Guliyev and others attended at the discussions.
